We will cover video evidence first, followed by photo evidence, and then EVP Clips if any of the above are found. One note regarding ORBS. Many paranormal professionals dismiss ORBS outright. Far too many groups try to present paranormal ORB "evidence" that allegedly shows ORBS, when they are bugs or more likely dust. D.A.P.S. does not completely dismiss ORBS as a legitimate paranormal event, however, D.A.P.S. is very cautious about presenting what we believe may be legitimate ORBS, unless there is compelling evidence as to the ORB being a legitimate paranormal event.
D.A.P.S. team members took 261 digital photos during the investigation hoping to capture evidence. Unfortunately none was found in those photos. We have pulled three still shots from the video footage that was recorded in the bedroom where activity was reported. The resident had claimed that they saw lights, or mists, on or near the window. It was later discovered that D.A.P.S. investigators could reproduce the anomaly with their camera. When the resident was using their cell phone to take the video they showed us containing the lights or mists, we at first thought that the TV was making a reflection, which it may have done. We also discovered that while taking video with the cell phone, an illuminator light on the phone comes on. While using the Canon digital camera, we discovered that the pre-flash light made the same or similar light anomaly on the blinds. D.A.P.S. believes that the light or mist like anomaly seen in the video is simply the TV or cell phone illuminator. The photos below show the blinds in normal light, then one with our Canon camera light showing a similar light as seen in the video, and a third photo of the neighbors car headlights illuminating the window from the outside where there is a shrub planted.
Besides any video and digital photo evidence captured, the D.A.P.S. teams were able to perform a lot of EVP sessions trying to make contact. During these sessions we use a variety of different equipment from just the digital recorder, to the SB-7 Spirit Box, and the Ovilus. There is a lot of skepticism of the SB-7 Spirit Box and the Ovilus, and at first D.A.P.S. was unsure how effective they would be as accurate investigative tools. What convinced us that there was the fact that at each location where we have used these devices, the data they produced ended up being extremely relevant. This investigation, and the evidence we present below is another example of that reality. We were able to capture a number of SB-7 Spirit Box and Ovilus hits during these sessions. It is possible that some of the SB-7 Spirit Box session responses are true EVP's as the same recorder is used to pick up both which are indistinguishable from one another.
NOTE: For the best listening experience, use headphones and adjust the volume on your PC or Laptop accordingly.
One of the first words we captured was Country. The Battle of Cooch's Bridge was a battle during the American Revolution where our soldiers were fighting for our "Country" and it's independence from the British. (They lost this battle.) Below is the clip of this Ovilus event.
The second word we captured was Disaster. We at first thought this was associated the battle that ended up in Disaster as we lost that battle. We will come back to this word again later. Blow is the clip of this Ovilus EVP.
This is the last word for the Ovilus, it is the word Tree. This word, at first, we were confused on, and thought maybe it may have applied to the battlefield. That was until we talked further with the resident who told us that the little girl who drowned loved trees. That clip is below.
The residents were quite excited about possible ORB activity. We found that, as with most inhabited structures, there is always a lot of dust in the air. Some of these, on rare occasion, were a bit bright, but did not exhibit the characteristics of legitimate ORBS. D.A.P.S. was also shown a video file of what appeared to be a floating object in the back bedroom and some strange illuminations. D.A.P.S. was able to replicate the strange illuminations, and explain the activity captured as camera illumination, or TV reflection.
